John Knowles, a Houston native and passionate Houston sports fan, has been offering play-by-play and color commentary on Legacy Sports Network since 2026. John's love for broadcasting began with hearing Milo Hamilton's heartwarming, fun, always-energetic commentary on the Astros' radio network. It continued through his time in high school, when he spearheaded Strake Jesuit Educational Television's coverage of alumnus Chris Ogbonnaya and his quest to join the hometown Houston Texans.

Knowles is always pleased to be a part of sharing a good word that brings a community together and showcases human excellence. He salutes the athletes and families striving to be the best they can be, and looks forward to the next game on Legacy Sports Network.
