Tom Franklin is an award-winning sportscaster who has also been inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame. He has called football and basketball games on radio and television for the University of Houston, Rice University, and Sam Houston State University, as well as the NFL's Houston Oilers and Westwood One Sports. Currently, Franklin is in his sixth year calling Oak Ridge High School football on the Legacy Sports Network while continuing his work with Sam Houston State for football and men's and women's basketball on ESPN+.
